Fitness Obsession: The Power Of Protien

A staple in the average fitness fanatics’ diet, protein is a vital component that dare not be overlooked by the average gym junkie. Scrolling down my Instagram, it becomes more obvious that the quest to include protein extends past chicken breasts and eggs. Discovering means to reach our protein needs has become almost…adventurous. It also, with the help of the countless protein powders and protein bars relevant in the modern day fitness world, has never been easier. We cultivate different ways to make our protein flavorful, to explore new horizons, and unleash the foodie within us all in the name of gains. And well…protein.

There is an ongoing list of protein powders that I have been eager to try, from Cellucor, to PEScience Select, to Quest. As my Instagram feed becomes denser, and as new protein flavors and creations are uncovered, my list grows longer. Despite this list, I must say that my current go-to protein powder (other then Isagenix protein which I will discuss later) offers tough competition to these anticipated protein brands, and I really cannot imagine veering away from it completely for a couple of reasons:

First things first, with only 110 calories, 1g carb, 0g fat, and 25g of lactose-free whey protein, my current protein go-to, Jay Robb Non-GMO Whey, has amazing macros that offer so much flexibility for anyone counting calories, fats, or carbs, and is especially beneficial for those (enduring) enjoying a caloric deficit.  Of course, the taste is suburb as well, so it can  arguably be too good to be true…(but it’s not).

Jay Robb is quality protein, and is not a brand really heard of amongst the superstar protein brands that are known today. Using this product for a few months, I definitely believe that Jay Robb is a worthwhile and versatile protein brand with taste, quality, and macros that cannot be beat.

There is also  an egg-white protein powder option that offers the same great tasting, macro-friendly benefits that I love.

I am on a mission to try different recipes  that they list on the Jay Robb website and I thought I would share them with you all too. These recipes can also be used with other protein powders of choice of course:
